For this one, I really have no idea what happened. It took off great. That I'm happy about. But about 20 feet into the air it just..blew up. I had a fairly big nozzle so I don't think the pressure was too great, and I don't think the clay would have burst open because it was extremely strong. But my overall feelings about this launch are positive, because it went up into the air. I'll just pretend that was an intentional report. ... Nobody told me about the fire dance preceding the burn. It was amazing. These people practice all year for this event, and wisely so. The fireworks were spectacular, and the explosion incredible. I did not capture the burn of the structure. Sometimes one simply must immerse oneself in the experience without having to document every detail. Besides, I ran out of space. :-) ... Here you can watch a bunch of 10 and 12 inch shells we fired just off the main jinsha road in liuyang. The coolest part is that where we were located was in the middle of a valley so the sound made when the lift charge ignites and then the sound when the shell bursts is absolutely monsterous and echoes for ever!
