The stunt, aimed at promoting his band, Surefire Machine, took place at the Edmonton Sky Dive Center and witnessed the thrill seeker jumping out of an airplane and getting the initials of his band - SFM - tattooed on his forearm. A skydiver gets his parachute stuck in the wheel of the airplane hes jumping from. When he finally manage to cut himself lose, he find out he had cut some of the parachute. He starts spinning until he gets the backup parachute out. He hits the freezing water at 50 km/h and when found, his body temperature were only 31 celsius. He survived after being picked up by a Sea King rescue chopper.
