Two New Orlean residents say they witnessed helicopters drop bombs on the levee that broke during Hurricane Katrina. I am no expert but I would have to assume its would be rather challenging to fly a helicopter during a category 5 hurricane.

After being told that the levee had failed and seeing that the water is rising fast, I flee through flooded streets to get out of downtown New Orleans and back to Kenner and higher ground near the airport.
